Cold Bath hides something gloomy in the midst of an ocean of soft and sweet sounds.
A mixture of rock and pop, with heavier sounds from grunge, the choral still unperturbed, beyond noise and rhythm. The dry and precise rhythm section supports the dissonant and excessive fantasies of both warm guitars. Take Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Rage Against The Machine, Gorillaz, Tame Impala, make a good cocktail and you’ll get Cold Bath.
The best example would be their track Fire In The Jungle: funky bass line, nerve drums and nonchalant vocals, of a smoky timbre. First title selected for the “All for One” concept of Mx3, the title was played every day in October 2017 on Swiss national radios: Couleur3, SRF3, SRF Virus, Rete Tre and Radio Rumantsch.
The release of their album Nomad in October 2016 was followed by a wave of date across Switzerland, energetic and moving shows where it is not uncommon to see a member of the group finish off on his guitar.
Good news, their second album is currently in preparation for a release scheduled for September 2018.
